| At this point I can't remember specifically, it must have been some combination of seeing it depicted in media like anime or manga, seeing it in street snaps online, and seeing people in bands like Yousei Teikoku or Malice Mizer wearing it. Once I realized I had the ability to purchase it (I think it was around my 19th birthday?), and that I could wear it too, I just went for it. It took me a while to get brave enough to actually wear it outside, but I just feel like myself in it, I think I got used to it really quickly. |

| I would say overall I like things that are cute but also elegant, and maybe a little outrageous. Cute things with some bitterness. To me this translates to old school sweet and gothic. In a similar vein, while I love the details in historical fashion, I prefer when there's a twist to it that goes against the historical context (shorter skirts, etc). I love wearing Vivienne Westwood pieces with my lolita brand pieces, kind of like "Misato" from NANA. |

| Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is my overall favorite lolita brand, but I also love old Metamorphose, Angelic Pretty, Victorian Maiden, and Moi-meme-Moitie. |

| I feel like I'm more comfortable in who I am? I don't care if people look at me weird, because I like what I'm wearing. My heart feels at ease, and I look cute! I also think lolita fashion really taught me to value my clothes. Each piece feels irreplaceable to me, so I wear and clean them carefully, and if they stop feeling that way, I sell them to someone else who will care for them. I think the thought that the clothes were made with love, or at least treated with lots of love, really changes the way you feel about them. |

| Old volumes of CUTiE, KERA and Gothic & Lolita Bible. Lately I'm really interested in CUTiE because it predates the other two, I get to see more unfamiliar things. |

| I wear headdresses the most, but I wear bonnets too sometimes. I love the way big ribbons look, but just looking at a headband makes me feel a headache starting... |

| I think I primarily listen to jpop, jrock, kpop and visual kei bands. I put all the bands I listen to the most in my self-introduction page, it's kind of all over the place. My main focus at the moment though is TXT. |

| Maybe not with a petticoat underneath (unless there's lots of room), but yes! I don't go to lives/concerts much, but I went to TXT's concert in a mix of Vivienne Westwood and lolita brand pieces. I really just don't like wearing anything else... (^^; |
